How much should I expect to pay?As reported in the Straits Times Singapore on 29 May 2022 (Getting a coach to help with career more common now), the rates for career coaching in Singapore can range from free (services provided by the union e2i or Government Careers Connect) to several hundred dollars per session for private career coaching / counselling sessions. Within the market for private career coaching or counselling services in Singapore, the rates could range from as low as $50 to $100 or $150 upwards to $300 per hour / session. The rate would depend on the depth of support, the experience and qualifications of the career coach / counsellor, the number of hours or sessions and whether there are quality supervision checks during the helping process and post service support. As a gauge, our fees are charged at $250 to $350 per session of 1.5 hours for personalised career coaching / career counselling sessions. It is important to know what you are paying for, so do your due diligence checks to understand the process and outcomes and align your expectation with what is being offered to you.
