"Hello unemployment"
Calvin was retrenched from his job after 2 decades of loyal service. The industry had not been doing well for some years and he had foreseen the retrenchment coming. "After seeing my friends undergo retrenchment, I kind of expected this." Calvin thought. Having joined the 50s age group, Calvin wondered about the possible options ahead.

The effect of being unemployed quickly hit Calvin. With no work to occupy him and no assurance of salary, he begun to worry. “Should I drive become a private hire driver? While the money would be good, I know this role will not be suitable for me." Calvin said. Calvin has gained clarity about his career.
