Intake 1: Certification in Hope-Action Theory & Practice

Become a certified Hope-Action Theory Advanced Practitioner through this 7 week, 50.5 hour certification programme, conducted by DoubleKnot Works.

The Hope-Action Theory contains competencies that you can develop and incorporate into all aspects of your life, which includes career planning. When implementing career goals guided by the Hope-Action Theory, your clients (and you) will be able to make career decisions in a positive, confident, and hopeful manner.

Experience the best of blended learning, through live sessions, peer learning, supervision / mentoring, self learning and assignments. Through the 7 weeks, you can expect to the following learning activities:

Pre Work (Between 4 - 4.5 hours per week)

Watch recorded mini webinars, complete assignments at your own pace across the week.

1. Week 1 - Starting from Monday 29 Aug 2022

2. Week 2 - Starting from Monday 5 Sept 2022

Live Sessions (2 hours per week)

Attend weekly live sessions conducted by Dr Norman Amundsen, Dr Spencer Niles and Andrea Fruhling.

1.  Week 3 - Friday 16 Sept 2022, 9am to 11am

2.  Week 4 - Friday 23 Sept 2022, 9am to 11am

3.  Week 5 - Friday 30 Sept 2022, 9am to 11am

4.  Week 6 - Friday 7 Oct 2022, 9am to 11am

5.  Week 7 - Friday 14 Oct 2022, 9am to 11am

Self Learning, Peer Learning (Between 5 - 8 hours per week)

Watch recorded mini webinars, complete assignments, meet with learning triads, receive 2 hours of supervision within learning triad. This will be between Week 3 to Week 7

This certification programme qualifies you to a total of 10 hours of verifiable and 40 hours 25 mins of non verifiable continuing professional development hours for WSG credential holders.

Entry Pre-requisite

This certification programme is organised for Singapore Citizens and PRs and is suitable for the following groups of learners:

• Career practitioner supporting students, job seekers, employees with career guidance

• HR practitioners, Organisation Development professionals with career development agendas

• NCDA credential holders, WSG CDF credential holders

• Prior formal training in career counselling, career coaching

Certification Fees (after WSG subsidy support)

$880 for WSG Career Development Framework (CDF) Credential holders

$1,100 for Singapore Citizens and PRs 

Upon registration of your interest, we will email you a hyperlink to download a CHATP Prospectus to understand more about the programme and enrolment process. Due to limited class size, enrolments will only be confirmed with full payment, on a first come first serve basis. Priority will be given to WSG CDF holders. Classes will only be confirmed upon reaching 25 learners per intake.

Registration will close within 2 weeks before each intake starts or upon reaching the full class size, whichever earlier.
